Food & Beverage Service

Jamie Keating, owner of Gourmet Events Catering, manages the RiverMill Event Centre and is the Exclusive Chef for the facility.  No food may be brought into the facility unless pre-approved by your event planner.  The RiverMill Event Centre holds an alcohol license granted by Muscogee County & therefore, guests will not be allowed to bring alcoholic beverages in to the RiverMill Event Centre.  Food and Beverages prepared by and/ or supplied by the facility are not allowed to be taken off property by the host or invited guest.

 

Event Arrangements

Floor plan and other details pertaining to your event will be arranged with your Event Planner.  A list of your vendors with contact names and numbers must be provided to your Event Planner.  A final walk-thru with your outside vendors should be scheduled no later then three weeks prior to your event to ensure a successful function.

 

Guest Count

A final guest count must be provided seven (7) days prior to your event.  This number is not subject to reduction.  You can increase your guest count until two (2) days prior. If your final guest count is not received, the number of guests indicated on the Banquet Event Order (your original estimate) will be considered as such.  You will be charged for the guarantee or the number attending, whichever is greater.

 

Service Charges & Taxes

All food and beverage prices are subject to 7% sales tax and 19% gratuity charge along with a $5.50 per person service charge for all events after 3pm and $3.25 per person before 3PM.  The service charge includes 60” round tables, white chairs, basic white linens, china, silver and glassware.

 

Décor

No decorations, sets, signs, plaques, scenery, notices, posters, banners or flags shall be used or posted inside or outside of the building without the prior consent of the RiverMill Event Centre.  Nothing can be taped, hung, nailed or adhered in any way to any surface of the premises.  Signage must be presented on free-standing easels.  Approved Fog machines, sparklers and colored petals need to be approved by event management. Rice, confetti and birdseed are NOT permitted at the RiverMill Event Centre.

 

Billing

A $1000.00 deposit is required for event date booking.


We require a 50% deposit for all services at the time of signing the contract.  The balance must be paid in full seven (7) days prior to your event.  Any charges incurred during your event will be due at the end of the event.  A 1.5% fee per month interest will be assessed after 7 days post event.  We accept all major credit cards, checks or cash.

 

Cancellation

0-60 days prior to the event- 100% of the event is nonrefundable (Balance is due when you cancel)

61+ days prior to the event- 50% of the event is non-refundable in addition to the $1000 deposit.

***The RiverMill Event Centre has the right to cancel the event with at least 60 days prior notice and the full deposit will be returned to the group.

 

Extras

We will gladly customize an event or menu for you that will satisfy your tastes, needs or budget!  Gourmet Events can also assist you with service and accompaniments like flowers, entertainment, rentals, and tents etc…anything you may need to plan the perfect event!  Please Ask!

 

Security

Uniformed security is required for all evening events with a minimum of one per 150 guests and then one officer per every 250 guests there after.  We use members of the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Deputies for this purpose.  They will greatly assist in the handling of car parking and logistical issues with use of the shuttles.  Daytime functions are not required to have security unless alcohol is being served and there are 200 or more guests for the event.

 

Tasting

A tasting can be arranged for the event. The date of the tasting can be no less than three weeks prior to the event and is subject to the current spending minimums and room charges.  For groups of six people and under the tasting will be in one of the meeting rooms of the RiverMill Event Centre and will be subject to a flat charge of $35.00++ per person for the tasting-up to one entrée per person.

 

Additional Equipment

Easel, P.A. systems, audiovisual equipment, or any equipment special ordered for your function through the RiverMill Event Centre or independent suppliers will be added to your bill.
